My daughter was seen in the ER for fainting/seizure which occurred at school. Miranda Locklear was her assigned nurse. I was in awe of the treatment Miranda provided my daughter. She came in initially to draw blood and did not leave my child's side until she was stabilized. She accompanied her to have her CT scan and held her hand along the way. She made a terrifying situation bearable and her calm demeanor put my child, as well as me, at ease. We have had quite the medical journey, but the one nurse that sticks out in our minds is Miranda. We, as a community, need a lot more nurses like Miranda.

I was sent to the ER with chest pain. Miranda Locklear was my nurse. She was caring and supportive as I was scared to death. She helped keep me calm and the ER is very lucky to have Miranda. She really cares about people.

My daughter was seen in the ER due to her migraine meds not working at home. Miranda Locklear was excellent- very caring and kind. She is truly a great nurse. Every experience with Miranda is a joy under the circumstances.

My grandson was recently admitted to your hospital. Long story short, he ended up needing mental health evaluations. Miranda Locklear treated him nothing less than extraordinary and for a 17-year-old boy that was going through issues with his mother, this says a lot. My grandson shared with me that she was extremely nice and caring. Many times, in society we see children that are labeled as troubled and how they can be mistreated or looked at differently. Miranda never once looked at him differently. She truly exemplifies what it means to be a nurse that provides empathy and compassion for her patients no matter the type of treatment they presented for. Hopefully, we never need assistance again but if we do, we hope that we are fortunate enough to have her as our nurse.
