Michele has mentored me for my entire career, beginning when she was my preceptor when I was 20, then when I was 54 she mentored me as I was pursuing my MSN. I've been so lucky - I could call her for anything. She's always gracious and helpful. Sometimes your mentor is your life guide.

Michele does a wonderful job with her students and we look forward to having them on our unit. In fact, this summer one of the RNs asked, 'When are the students coming back?' Many of the RNs often comment on how the Good Samaritan students are the best. In my observations, this is because Michele has very high standards for excellent patient care and she passes that on to her students. She teaches them to take initiative and always inquire to learn. She instills in them the desire to give the best care and to be a valuable part of the care team. This is evident in their actions. It's always a pleasure to have Michele as an educational leader on our unit.
