I had been here for a week, and I wanted a shower. Mercedes took the time to help me. When my linens needed to be changed and everyone was busy, Mercedes took the time to help me. Whenever I needed something, Mercedes took the time to care about me and to care for me. She has been nothing but professional. I believe deeply in my heart that she deserves this award. She meets all of the expectations patients have for their nurses. It would not just make her day, but it would make mine knowing that I did something for her because of everything she did for me.
