We delivered our fourth child at Mercy Medical Center. Our other 3 children were born at a neighboring hospital. Even though we have a prior experience with labor and delivery it felt like this was all new because it was at a new facility. Melissa was an amazing nurse. She did an awesome job making us feel at home. By noon, it felt like we had known her for years. She was excellent at monitoring my wife. If there were any concerns she was immediately in the room checking things out. Not only was our experience great, but we felt privileged that she was able to help birth our daughter, fifteen minutes before the end of her shift. Again, we greatly appreciated the service she gave us as a whole at Mercy. Not only did she go above and beyond making sure my wife was comfortable, her compassion was spread among all who were in the delivery room that day. Mercy's entire OB staff is absolutely amazing. We want to nominate them all. But special thanks to Melissa for the 12 hours she stayed with us; it really made her stand out to us!
