Meghan was my mom's nurse on a particularly bad day and not only gave her outstanding excellent medical care but she was there for her personally as well. Her loving, nurturing nature stood out that day and she left her 'mark' on us for sure. Then, the next day, when she was not my mom's nurse, she came in and spent time with her, prayed with her and shared a song that touched mine and my mom's heart. She went way above and beyond to make sure my mom knew that she mattered. Mom has told all her friends her 'Meghan Story' so I wanted to tell y'all too. It's acts like Meghan's that help you push through all the sticks and procedures, it makes you stronger mentally which encourages the physical side to endure, progress and heal. It is a style of nursing that cannot be taught and y'all are lucky to have Meghan as one of your nurses but not as lucky as we felt to have her that one day. <3 "The true test of one's character is what you do when no one is watching."
