Being sick and staying at a hospital is scary. My nurse, Megan, went above and way beyond her duties as a nurse. She checked in on me constantly to make sure I was feeling okay and to see if I needed anything. She also let me know step by step what she was doing and why if she was giving me a shot or medication the reasons. She took the time to explain things either myself or my wife didn't understand. She kept a smile on her face at all times and it shows that she truly cares about her patients and cares about how they feel and wants to make sure they are comfortable with the care and treatment.
Megan is by far the most caring person I have ever met in healthcare. I am so grateful she was one of my nurses. She explained things about my health in a way I understood. She answered my questions and didn't rush me. Megan is definitely a nurse because she cares, not just for a job. I can't explain how comfortable I was after she talked to me in a way I understood and my wife understood. Thank you, Megan, for being such a great nurse and making my time here better.
