Meg is a phenomenal nurse. She showed compassion and empathy during our recent hospital stay. She really understood what we were going through and took the extra time to ensure that our baby was comfortable under the photo lights. She even stayed after her shift ended to make sure we were comfortable leaving our little one at the hospital to get treatment. Meg also reassured us that she would look after Emily the next day when she came on shift. This provided us with a peace of mind that enabled us to leave our daughter for treatment. Overall, I want to commend Meg for her excellent care. Coming from a health care background myself, I want to acknowledge what a valuable employee you have in Meg.

Meg is nurturing, calming and reassuring to our patients and is an advocate for the entire family. Meg is an excellent resource for patients and assisting staff with lactation needs. She is mentioned often from our PCM phone calls as giving excellent care to our patients and their newborns. Meg has a very calming demeanor which gives a relaxing effect to the patients. She makes them feel at ease in a non-rushed manner. Meg is quiet and does not like a lot of attention and adoration given to her, and is quite humble. When Meg assessed a newborn emergency in which the infant was transferred to another hospital via helicopter, she insisted it was "no big deal, why is everyone making it such a big deal?" Meg also has a great sense of humor and is a team player. Meg started with us as a super-user for the new computer charting, and is still sought after as the expert with documentation with our staff and physicians.

Meg is a terrific nurse. She initially came to us as a new grad CPOE nurse. We are blessed to have her on our team! We greatly appreciate her critical thinking and patient care skills. She is frequently the recipient of praise by her patients as having provided extraordinary care. Pediatricians, neonatologists, and nurse leaders in our department have commended Meg for her outstanding critical thinking and assessment skills. Meg is very much appreciated by our entire Women & Children's team.
