Maggie has been such an amazing nurse and it's easy to tell her commitment to Veterans is a top priority. I've been able to approach her with concerns, mainly a medication and communication issue. She's spent an immeasurable amount of time working to advocate on my behalf to ensure my normal nausea medication for gastroparesis is restored, despite numerous communication problems with my referring VA facility. Her commitment to me and helping me by being my advocate has been not only comforting but reassuring to me. I'm not just another patient and I'm confident in her continued care for me and other vets while I'm here. I know she won't stop being an advocate and will ensure the issue is resolved. Please make sure she knows how valuable she is to your nursing staff.
