We meet Manuel about 2 years ago in post op. He was hands down the best nurse we have ever had. I have 22 years as a mom with special needs kids. He was so caring, compassionate and clearly loved his job. He is also very modest. We have had the great pleasure of having him as our nurse several times and I always forget to nominate him after we leave. Today we had another nurse and as soon as he saw us he came and hugged us and asked how my child was. He ended up as our nurse before we left. Once again he amazed us with his intelligence by being attentive to us and assisting a nurse next to us who needed an interpreter.

You are very lucky to have such a wonderful person on your staff. We always feel better when we get him because he remembers us and goes so far above and beyond in showing he cares. He of course will no doubt say he did nothing special because that's just who and how he is. I hope you will find it prudent to give him a huge pat on the back at the very least because he is your champion and rock star!
