Maegan is a team player and tries to get all staff to work together to do what is best for the patient and the facility. She takes initiative to find information that she needs to know, and applies it to her work. She has taken on many projects and implemented them with very little guidance (ex: Cardiac Level 1, Code Stroke, ED dischage call backs). She participates on numerous committees, such as ED Council, Nurse Practice, Nursing Staff, Staffing Effectiveness, Trauma Committee, and serves as the Professional Practice and Leadership Development Council Co-Chair. She precepts new staff in the ED. Maegan is always positive and upbeat, she is consistently courteous, respectful, and professional with her peers and patients. Maegan collaborates with all staff in all departments to ensure our patients are receviing the very best care.
