About a year ago, I had to start having Xolair shots every other week. For me, they are lifesaving. The process of administering the shots is time consuming because the nurse doing so has to see you are there before mixing the shot, wait for it to liquefy, administer it, then observe you a half hour later to be sure you didn't react negatively. My first 6 months or so of shots were a nightmare. On average it took 3 hours each time I had my shots. I dreaded coming to the clinic for them. I was ready to quit taking these shots even though they clearly were saving my life out of sheer frustration.

I asked to move to another department for the administration of these shots. The new administrator was Lynn Ellis. She was a delight from moment one. She made sure I was in and out as quickly as possible. I haven't spent longer than 1.5 hours there when I get the shot since she has been in charge of the process. I have had to travel and have had to change appointments and she works with me in a flexible, accommodating and pleasant way. She takes care to be the best nurse possible and she is a gem. She deserves recognition.

As a final note, I had to ask someone in the reception area Lynn's last name to write this recommendation. I had to tell them why to get the last name. Their immediate response was "she is awesome". She is...awesome.
