Lisa Lee shows trust, belonging and hope by caring for the patients even on her day off. She came into work on her day off to sit with a Cystic Fibrosis patient on the patient's birthday. She brought the patient a birthday cake, teddy bear, and gold chain. She watched movies with the patient to keep her company so the patient wouldn't be alone on that special day.
She collaborates with team members to ensure positive patient experience by having very positive attitude when someone has a negative statement she can look at the positive side. She always states positive things when doing shift to shift introductions. She works with physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and case management for the best outcome for the patient. She will call the doctors to inform them that the has fears about a procedure and won't stop until all the questions are answered.
She generates enthusiasm and positive energy while maintaining a caring attitude in all clinical situations. She always looks at the glass as half full. She is good at patient education, shift to shift introductions, comes early, good patient advocate, looks at other sources to help patients and is persistent. She explains everything to the patient at their level. She welcomes the difficult patient with a smile and will help others members of the team when needed.
