Linda was my dad's nurse the first two days of his admission. My dad has a fear of being admitted to the hospital, and Linda was very thorough and explained everything to him (and us) so that he felt at ease, which is not easy to do. I am a nurse, and very picky with how nurses take care and give care to a patient, let alone my dad, and I am very impressed. I felt so comfortable that Linda was his nurse again the second night that I went home to sleep, knowing he is well taken care of. She is one of many angels on CITU. Great asset to the team!

Linda plays an active role in the unit; she functions as a floor nurse, a Relief Charge Nurse, preceptor, Super-user and member of the Clinical Operations Council. Everybody knows that if there is a question about policy or procedure, Linda is the perfect resource. She is a fount of information that staff old and new utilize her as a resource. Her application of those policies and procedures is incorporated into the quality of care she provides to her patients. She is kind and patient to those in her care, and is a strong advocate for her patients. While she tends to be quiet and wanting to stand in the background, she stands out in the excellence of her care.
