I knew I had someone who cared about me. If I was feeling bad Lesley would give me a hug and she would tell me she loved me.
Lesley was with me in 2015 and 2014 and she was the first nurse I had. I knew then, when I first had her, that she was going to be my friend. She cared about me, was nice to me and she is a special person. And she has a good heart, she treats people like family, not like a nurse to a patient. Sometimes I felt like no one cared about me or loved me. After my husband died she listened to me as I cried. What she said to me, and how she treated me, I knew I had someone who cared about me. If I was feeling bad she would give me a hug and she would tell me she loved me. This world would be a better place if we had more like her. She is always the same person, she doesn't treat people differently. God is going to bless her because she is a good person and has a big heart. I love her and she will be my friend always. I want people to know her like I know her and they will love her too. Her smile will light up the room. She cares about people and she makes them happy. I am happy when I see her because I know in my heart she is my friend for life.
