As a young nurse Lauren has demonstrated a “can-do” attitude. Several of her patients in the first year out of nursing school had a serious change, (6 to be exact), necessitating a call to rapid response team. She remained calm and even calmed her patients with soothing reassuring words and actions. She was able to articulate in SBAR fashion an excellent hand-off report to both nurses and MD’s. Her patients are always happy with the care she gives them too. She frequently helps other nurses with the completion of their tasks and is an asset to our unit with a smile for everyone.
