When I arrived on the fifth floor along with my daughter, I was feeling very heavy and overwhelmed by the concept of not knowing what my daughter's illness was. A diagnosis had not been made. Some people are special and you just know that they are sent by God. It's kind of God's way of letting us know that he is with us and that he is "Love". Lamia is that special person to us.
Lamia has a watchful eye when assessing her patients. My daughter is evidence of her ability to discern and observe her patients. The doctors now have a diagnosis which will allow them to treat my daughter successfully. I'm so grateful for the road we crossed. There is nothing in this world more powerful than a person's quality of life. Because of Lamia, our hope has been reassured. Thank you Lamia!
