Lacy Carter worked as a Student Nurse 2 at NKCH in the float pool during nursing school at Missouri Western. She showed an immediate connection to Oncology nursing during that time. Upon Graduation in 2010 she became a new graduate nursing on the Oncology unit. Lacy was a dynamic and engaging graduate nurse who demonstrated a very promising career in this profession.

Lacy is always smiling, positive and visiting with patients and their families. She makes a point to make a personal connection with all of her patients. Lacy works on the inpatient unit and also works in the outpatient oncology clinic. Lacy is a strong patient advocate and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met regardless of what it requires. Lacy demonstrates the true meaning of "oncology nurse".
