I am a diabetic amputee with multiple health issues that require much attention. Although I am a very well controlled diabetic, it takes a team effort between a nurse and a patient to achieve the possible care necessary to achieve that. Kristyn's overall nursing care really shows excellent skills and constant effort she puts into her care. Her concerns are genuine and show the highest quality care. She made me very comfortable with every single detail, everything I needed was performed with confidence and with the greatest of care. As busy as Kristyn was, she still made time to not only distribute my meds on time and care for my other medical issues, like changing my bandages, amongst everything else she has to perform with her job on a daily basis. I'm also very happy that her co-workers speak highly of her which gives me more confidence that I am in great hands. I need never ring the call bell or wait for anything as far as my care, and amazingly enough, she still manages to make time to check on me throughout the day making sure I had everything I need. All of this also helps with one major factor in my life, and that is she keeps my family at ease, so they know I am in great hands.
When I was admitted into the hospital, the last thing I wanted was a difficult stay or a difficult time trying to obtain what I needed to receive and/or have done while being here. To me, timing and coordination are everything in order to execute a successful treatment plan and achieve the quality care she gave me. She made my stay stress and pain-free for both me and my family. She is an Angel of Mercy. She was professional, pleasant, very caring, and at times very funny, which leads to great healthcare and recovery, and in turn, makes my stay a lot easier. The constant smile doesn't hurt either! Kristyn is an extremely well skilled and caring nurse in all areas of this position. I felt virtually no pain as she started my IV for the ECHO I needed to have done. Gentleness is one of her numerous talents. I only wish that there were more nurses like her. It would truly be a healthier and much more stress and pain-free world to live in. Kudos to my Angel of Mercy, she can do it all! Thank you, Kristyn, for making my stay easier.
