Nurse Kerry was recognized for her extraordinary care to pediatric patients in the Neurology Clinic. On her nomination letter a family wrote:
"There are times when the disease facing the family offers no immediate solution, when all that can be done is living in the midst of a difficult reality. At such times the word "cure" has no meaning and offers little hope. What is needed is not a fix, but a presence. Kerry has been that presence."
