Kendra immediately helped the patient by researching local otolaryngologists in the area who could successfully correct the issue.
When a patient was having trouble breastfeeding their baby, Kendra Carroll came to the rescue. When the new mom arrived on the mother/baby unit, Kendra was one of the first on the unit to greet the patient and check-in with her. Kendra noticed that the baby had what appeared to be a tongue tie and consulted with the pediatrician. Her consult with the pediatrician resulted in an otolaryngologist meeting with the patient. Kendra made sure to be there for the consult and upon learning that the otolaryngologist did not believe that there was enough to clip, Kendra immediately helped the patient by researching local otolaryngologists in the area who could successfully correct the issue. Because of her recommendation, the patient's mother went and saw a different ENT outpatient who immediately saw the issue and corrected it successfully!
"I'm so thankful for Kendra for going out of her way to help me even after being discharged from the hospital. She's so good at what she does and I know her patients appreciate her dedication."
