Kelli made a special connection with a family of newborn twins in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. "During our twin daughters' stay in NICU, my husband and I had to switch out visiting times to watch our two older children. As I was visiting with Kelli about our situation, she was very sympathetic and understanding. Later in my visit, she came up to me and offered to come in the next day (on her day off) and sit with our older kids while my husband and I both went back into NICU to see the twins. The next day, she came up to the hospital and watched our big kids for an hour AND brought them Christmas gifts! This complete stranger's generosity touched our hearts and we will forever be grateful for the first time since birth that we held our girls together!"

This story is a great example of how Kelli demonstrates compassion, kindness and dedication to her profession. This selfless act is just one way Kelli goes above and beyond for her patients and their families every day. Thank you Kelli for providing our patients with excellent care!

This is an outstanding example of how "Service is Our Passion" is exemplified by our February DAISY Award Recipient, Kelli Blair, LVN. Congratulations!
