Karen is the first RN to cross-train as a PICC/IR Nurse at Hoag. She achieved national certifications in both Radiology Nursing (CRN) and Vascular Access (BC-VA). She makes her patients laugh and always provides them with the highest level of care. Karen has been instrumental in the reduction of CLABSI's at Hoag over the last few years. Karen also spends many countless hours donating her time gathering, sorting, and delivering medical supplies to countries in need. She is truly an Extraordinary Nurse!
