"For some people a "career" turns "Job" status quickly! Nurses have to be passionate, I believe, above all else. Passion drives ambition, persistence, compassion, and NOT the decision to care, but transforms one into Caregiver! I truly feel Kara has mastered a quality we all hope and strive for: the ability to turn passion into a habit. Her level of patience, class, focus, patient skills, timeliness, candor and clinical skills made me comfortable, aware, and informed and I felt at home with her at the reigns. Truth be told, I was watching the clock, as I had hoped 7am was not so near. Not only was her communication stellar regarding meds, pain level and all other relevant conversation, I felt like half of the night I sat with a friend! Kara, Thank you for your huge heart and your habitual passion.. You made your shift seamless in a sort of effortless way FAR exceeding my expectations."

"Kara was exceptionally kind and caring during our visit for my husband's stay. He had pain that was challenging to manage and Kara was a helpful advocate to not only manage his pain but to seek alternative medications that worked better. Kara combines compassion with critical thinking skills that make her an excellent nurse."

"Kara was caring, professional and thoughtful in her approach to nursing during my recent stay at West Chester Hospital. Kara was assigned to me for two consecutive days when I was experiencing sudden episodes of severe, radiating pain. Even though Kara was extremely busy tending to others, she was always immediately available to help me when I needed it most. Kara coordinated with several providers as well as my oncology team while the source of my problem was still undetermined. Kara was a source of great confidence and strength during a very dark time and I very much see her as a role model for other caregivers to emulate."
