Kamber was not scheduled to be our nurse when we were admitted. She went out of her way to make F as comfortable as possible. When he started to feel better, but still needed to stay in the hospital, she brought in games for us to play! She helped check on him while working to make sure we were happy. Kamber went above and beyond. Kamber also made sure that I was as comfortable as possible. She arranged better sleeping conditions for me, so I could stay by his side and in his room. All of the care was wonderful. Kamber just took the "extra" steps to make it even better. This hospital is lucky to have her.

Kamber did above her duties with my daughter, she not only bonded with her, but she also comforted us in our time of need.

My 2-year-old son was admitted to the peds floor one-day post-op. Kamber showed great care and empathy for him. L has a lot of sensory and over stimulation. She was one of the only people that took the time to listen and understand his difficulties. She would come into the room and insist that I took a breather when he was being overwhelming. Kamber really took the time to build a relationship and trust with my son.
After she administered medicine or took his vitals, she would make sure he was in a great mood before leaving the room. She would play with L. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. She made us feel more like friends instead of patients and patients' family. No matter how many other patients she had to take care of or how hectic and busy her shift was, Kamber always gets her work done. She is amazing! She is definitely in the right career. She is the only one who could walk in the room and keep him in a great mood. Our son refuses to take oral medication, of course, she figured out a way to give him his medication without him knowing. Kamber can really turn a bad situation around, I am so blessed we had her here to care for our son.
