My wife was a patient in the PACU after an urgent lumbar decompression. Kaleigh cared for my wife both in the pre-op and post-op portions of her stay in the PACU. My wife had some issues with pain management and getting comfortable after surgery. It was clear that she was being cared for by a nurse who was compassionate and very good at her job. Kaleigh was so caring and patient with my wife the entire time she was in PACU. Kaleigh made an effort to help her reach a 4 or 5 on the pain scale. A few times my wife was getting anxious due to her pain level. Kaleigh made sure that she was able to get that under control and get a bit of relief. We were in the PACU until late in the afternoon. The entire time Kaleigh offered comfort measures to my wife and found time to be with her. I observed how organized and efficient Kaleigh was to care for my wife as well as other patients nearby. It was inspiring to see nurses in the PACU, as well on Tower 6, giving such good care to their patients.
