Josh Brahler is my angel. He along with many others at BHMC-LR made it possible for me to marry the love of my life before he passed away. When my husband was finally ready to get married, I wanted so badly to make it happen, but was running out of time and was devastated when I thought there was no way we would be able to get married. Thanks to Josh I was able to marry the love of my life. Even though my husband doesn't remember, every time I remind him, the joy and love in his eyes is a precious memory I will never forget. Josh went above and beyond along with many others and I will be forever grateful with love in my heart.

Words just can't describe the care and thoughtfulness of Josh Brahler. He went above and beyond to grant the one wish that my brother had and that was to marry the love of his life. My brother was in no condition to go to a wedding, so Josh brought the wedding to him. He made sure that it was the most special moment, that they would never forget. It was even more than what we (his family) had imagined. He also took wonderful care of my brother and saw that his every need was met. Thank you, Josh, for everything!

When a family goes through such heartache and pain, a lot of the time the things that mean the most are the nurses and staff that see our loved one, day in and day out. In our case, our whole family was blessed with a lot of great staff, but one in particular Josh Brahler went above and beyond not just every day, but every trip he made in the room. Josh went out of his way to give so much happiness to a couple who had so little time together. He showed compassion for them and their families. There is no way to thank him enough. We just want him to know we will never forget how hard he worked to make the patient's dream come true.
