Chad is a float nurse. It's always a pleasure to see he is working with us. This morning I heard him introducing himself to a patient and stating how the two of them were going to have a great day. You can literally hear the enthusiasm in his voice. I've noticed what an exceptional team player he is. He doesn't get rattled or frustrated and I've witnessed him on more than five times today stand from his notes or peer conversations to address a patient trying to crawl out of bed. This patient is not assigned to him, but it is obvious he considers all patients his patients. Chad literally is always upbeat and more than happy to help, regardless of the situation.
