A patient's very large family gathered at Health Central for several days before their father was taken into hospice care. At one point, John set them all up in the family room with snacks and drinks and even placed a sign on the door to keep it private for them. The family knew their father wasn't the only patient in the hospital but they were so grateful to John for giving them a comfortable place to gather as a family.
But John will forever be remembered for his actions when one of the family members became weak and began to pass out during one of his visits. His sisters were assisting him out of their father's room when John noticed his condition from the nurse's station. John sprang into action and quickly put her brother in a wheelchair and rushed him to the emergency room. Apparently, he was so fast that the sisters couldn't keep up with him. The brother was eventually admitted to the 4th floor. The family is so impressed and grateful to him for his actions. It is very important to make sure is acknowledged for making such a difficult time a little easier.
