Jill was a gigantic part of making the day our son was born a day we will lovingly remember forever.
My wife was in labor and delivery for almost two days and Jill took care of her on 2 separate shifts. We were both disappointed when her first shift was up because although the others were also excellent, my wife and Jill seemed to have just "clicked" and it made my wife so much more comfortable and confident.
We were thrilled when Jill started her shift the next day and found out we were still there that she requested us! My wife couldn't have been happier to see her again.
We both felt as if we had known her forever and it made a world of a difference while we went through this life-changing experience for the first time.
Jill proved to us that she really did care when she stayed 3 hours past the end of her shift to see the delivery through. I don't know if too many people, regardless of occupation who would voluntarily stay with complete strangers like us, 3 hours past her responsibilities until 2 am.
Unbeknownst to Jill, my wife had a lot of anxiety about delivering without her. It meant the world to her and me when Jill told us she wasn't leaving until our baby came.
The entire staff was fantastic but we will remember Jill forever. You are lucky to have a nurse like her in your hospital.
