Jessica was very attentive to my brother while he was a patient at Norton Audubon. He suffers from dementia and was in the hospital for multiple blood clots in his lungs. He was very difficult to get blood from as well as didn't always understand what he needed to do to help. Jessica teamed up with her co-workers and devised a plan to make his 4 am draw as quick, painless, and successful as she could. Also one evening he decided he was getting out of bed to go to the bathroom. I pushed the button for help but before I could block him from getting out of bed he pushed me aside, while the bed alarm was going off. He was pulling his IV stand across the bed, plus almost pulled his IV out of his arm. This all happened very quickly, so I yelled for help. Within seconds, Jessica was there helping me. I was so thankful she came so quickly. It helped to avoid another IV site for his heparin. Jessica was our angel as I stayed with him each evening due to his dementia. Thank you for all of the help, attention, and for making us feel so special.
