Our dad, T, was transported to the ER when he experienced extreme pain in his neck. My brother and I were with our dad when the ER doctor told us that he had a major aneurysm in his brain. We were not prepared at all to hear this devastating and dreadful news. Our dad passed away shortly afterwards in the ER. The unexpected loss of our dad was overwhelming and incomprehensible. My knees buckled and I would have fallen to the floor if it wasn't for Jennifer. She held me up and moved a chair under me.
However, Jennifer did much more than saving me from falling. She became the anchor for my family and especially for me. I truly believe Jennifer was God sent. She genuinely cared and even stayed after her shift just to make sure I was all right. I will never forget Jennifer and all of her heartfelt kindness. Our mom believed the most important qualities in life are being kind and humble to everyone. She lived her entire life by these virtues. Jennifer possesses these qualities in addition to being an excellent nurse. There is a difference between nice and kind. Most people can be nice but there are few that are truly kind. We sincerely express our gratitude to Jennifer and her God-given kindness. Jennifer went far above and beyond the call of duty. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
