My grand-daughter was admitted (transferred) from Kaiser Riverside, she had Staph Infection throughout her bloodstream, she could not move, she was in excruciating pain, pain even to the touch. We were devastated as a family to be told she was the sickest child on the ward (by her doctor) preparing us for the worst and told her system could shut down! We were devastated then Jeniffer came, loved on our baby as if she were her own. She would explain to us and to A every move she would make, it was so reassuring to us. She would speak softly to our baby and touch her gently understanding the pain our baby was in. She addressed our every concern, she was more like family by the time we left, we had trust in her to care for our baby, she explained to countless relatives exactly what was going on with A. A began to feel a little better and she would play games with A telling her to close her eyes and tell her which toe she was touching. She encouraged A, A even began to count each time she had to be turned or adjusted. Jeniffer helped her to help herself even high fived her when her hand could hardly move to finally, A being able to lift her own hand, no longer crying to every touch. Jeniffer is an amazing nurse, any child would be absolutely blessed to have her attending them, I wish we could have kept her wherever we were moved to! She attended A as if she were her own. When we came here we were overwhelmed but because of her care, knowledge, and compassion, we were able to go through some of the roughest days of our lives. She encouraged my grand-daughter to lift her arms and legs until she could move her arm completely straight up.
I don't believe anyone can fully understand what an amazing nurse Jeniffer is to those she provides care to. Unless you were in our situation. She explained every procedure in detail to us of the care given to A. Sometimes she would go over and over the same information because I forgot what I was told at times. She said it all with such patience. No amount of money could pay for the amazing care Jeniffer Mostajo gave our family and grand-daughter.
