It's like Jen was saying all the right things I needed to hear. Definitely changed my whole night around! I left my baby's room knowing that he was in good hands.
I was having a very hard time with my emotions and couldn't stop crying all day. The moment I met Jen it was like she knew I had to put a smile on my face. The first impression of her is that she was hilarious. Seriously could not stop laughing, kind of hurt my stomach where my stitches were, but totally worth it! My boyfriend knew I would never bring up to Jen that I was experiencing postpartum depression and really needed someone to talk to. Once we all stopped talking and got to know one another, he asked how we go about talking to someone about my postpartum depression. Jen honestly said everything I needed to hear. She said that I was going to have these thoughts in my head that say I'm not doing it right, where's my baby, my baby should be here, you're a horrible mom. But, she said it's what you do in the moments with him that will make you feel better. Honestly, it's like she was saying all the right things I needed to hear. Definitely changed my whole night around! I left my baby's room not only knowing that he was in good hands, but that Jen went above and beyond her job to make me feel relaxed, that I was doing everything right, and that I am a great mom!
