Jeannie had a male patient for several days who was very aggressive and just did not want to accept care. He would usually refuse care and remain in his wheelchair. He would not get into the bed or take any advice from Jeannie, or any other nurse. He also refused to wear a gown and stayed in his personal clothes. Even though Jeannie did not have to, she bought him a pack of white t-shirts and tried to make his stay better. She never raised her voice or talked down to him. She showed great compassion and respect. Jeannie has done this with several other patients. One patient wanted a certain toothbrush and Jeannie decided that night to try and find her one because that is all the patient was requesting. Jeannie goes above and beyond and is a great person. She truly cares for her patients and their needs.
