I was admitted to the ICU postpartum with vasospasm. I had Jeannette many times as a nurse during the day. Jeannette was there for me and my family during a very scary time. She was there when I couldn't walk and my legs would give out on me due to the spasms and she was also there when I was anxious and crying and missing my baby. One Saturday night after my angiogram, Jeannette came to visit me on her night off. She said, "I heard you had a rough day and wanted to check on you." She will never know how much that meant to me. I couldn't believe that she would come to see me on her night off. But, that just shows what an exceptional nurse she is and how much she cares for her patients. Jeannette also has a special place in my family's heart as we lovingly call her "Aunt Jeannette" because she cared for me and my family as if she was part of our family. I just want to thank Jeannette for being such a caring, patient and exceptional nurse. My family and I will never forget you!
