It is rough when you are in the hospital. You want to see a friendly face smile, just someone who can lift your spirits up. I had a bad day the morning before, but this special nurse came in Thursday morning full of smiles, joy, happiness, and love. Janice is extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable and prompt to her patient. She took the time to listen to my issues and concerns. She felt bad I had a bad morning but reassured me everything was ok. I could feel that she really felt bad about the day I had. She took the time to go over all meds she gave me. Why certain meds couldn't be taken together, why they held meds and what I didn't understand from the doctor. She took that extra time to make sure I was very comfortable and aware of all things. I wasn't her only patient, but she made me feel like her family and she truly cared. She didn't just rush in and rush out, that meant a lot. I understand they can't spend all day in a room but it's just that extra little step, smile that cheer patients up. I'm grateful for Janice and her professionalism. You can tell it's not just a paycheck for her, but her heart is fully in her job and she loves what she does. I pray God will continue to use her to help me. She didn't have to do any of what she did, but I am grateful. She will never understand how she made me feel.
