Jim is one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever worked with. Jim stepped in to help me with a patient that he was not assigned to. He stepped right in and offered his assistance to me. Jim shows empathy and compassion to those he serves. He gives that patient the encouragement that they need to push them to achieve their goal. He always makes himself available to jump in, no matter what the situation is. He shows great sportsmanship and he's a team player. He has patience and a loving demeanor. Patients seem to be at ease when Jim is in the room. He has a way of making them cooperate even when they may be difficult. He is truly operating in his calling. Jim always seems to hold down the fort and can maintain any area of the floor he is assigned to. He is a great teacher and leader. Jim shows you the 'tricks of the trade' to help make your job and task easier to get the mission accomplished. He brings loads of experience and he is not afraid to share them. Jim loves his job and it shows in his work. I always know that I will have a productive day when I know I'm working with him.
Jim humbly serves those with whom he is in contact with. If we could mold and shape more staff to operate like Jim, I can only imagine what this facility would be like. I applaud Jim, please never change, you are very valuable and appreciated.
