Iva has been a nurse for 2 years only. This is her second career. Ever since I moved to Midtown I've always heard about Iva's performance, until one day I got to meet her because she was concerned about being floated for the 1st time to another unit outside of WHS. I talked to her about what was expected of her as a sitter. I also asked the Shift Manager to take her up to that unit and introduce her to the charge nurse to make sure she's going to be fine. Since then I continue to hear good things about Iva from patients and attached are 2 patient write ups about her which makes her deserving of the DAISY Award.

I want to mention how great we were treated, in special way by Ms. Iva (nurse). She is outstanding, my girlfriend and I and also our precious little boy are so thankful for having her taking care of us. She is sincere and is confident with made us feel very comfortable and more confident in how we should take care of our first baby. Thank you Iva for been so good to us.

I was very impressed by the service in general, but especially by our Nurse Iva. She was not only attentive but very willing to assist us with any questions or concerns. I originally had my birth planned out at a different hospital and had to change at the last minute. It was stressful because I hadn't toured this hospital. Between her thoughtfulness, attentiveness and breast feeding advice, this was a fairly easy transition. I also really appreciate the lactation consultants on staff and got a lot help learning to feed properly.
