Imee Balacy, one of our RN Nurse Floats, is described as having a natural ability to calm people, make them feel at ease and show that she really does care about them with her bright smile and pleasant attitude. She truly personifies the DAISY spirit by not only showing her technical expertise, but her ability to care for patients like they were her own family.
Imee's smile and presence is great; you really know she cares. She has a naturally approachable personality and is amazing with people - that's a difficult trait to train someone on. Imee really took the time to explain the procedures I was to go through. She gave me some Dameron research on Cardiac Arrhythmia which was extremely helpful, and fully explained to me things about the monitors that no one else told me about the heart rate and what fluctuations the monitors displayed.
