The patient was turning 21 years old with total care and bedridden. Homero assisted with planning and helping organize a birthday party. He went above and beyond by finding a way to allow the patient to celebrate his birthday in the playroom. Homero stayed at the patient's side throughout the celebration monitoring the patient's status to allow family and caregivers a chance to celebrate the patient's special occasion. The patient was able to enjoy and celebrate his birthday with loved ones outside of hospital room which he had been in for over 2 weeks. Homero did a great job. The family greatly appreciated the gesture.
