I was recently a patient on the ARU after sustaining a fracture from a fall. I was impressed with the quality of care I received from the nursing staff, as well as the physical and occupational therapists. More specifically, I would like to commend and thank Hillary, RN for her consideration and kindness. She was always professional and performed her nursing responsibilities admirably. Additionally, she listened to my concerns and provided follow up each time which made me feel like I mattered and was not just a number or "the fracture" in a particular hospital room. I am grateful to Hillary, not only for the above but also for her perky sense of humor. She was like a ray of sunshine in the room. She deserves to be recognized for her abilities as a nurse and her personal interactions with patients to make them feel more comfortable during a difficult time.
