Greg was particularly kind, respectful, supportive, and considerate not only to my grandson but also to his mother and myself. All of his pertinent questions were addressed to all of us, not just to his mother. When Greg saw I was out of the room while an x-ray was being taken, he purposefully came over and assured me of the doctor's diligence and concern that the new, additional drug would be administered accurately and safely.
More important, Greg demonstrated true compassion for my grandson when he had to take a urine sample. Two female staff members were in the room and just taken blood samples (which I must say was accomplished very quickly with little pain to my grandson) but Greg kept my grandson covered and softly told us he would not perform the procedure until those ladies had left the room.
Greg's obvious compassion and concern for our feelings brought tears to my eyes. We've endured this procedure many, many times but no other staff member has ever been so kind or thoughtful. Lastly, it was quite late when my grandson was released. We had several, heavy bags (we have learned to pack for a possible emergency trip whenever my grandson is taken to the ER) as well as my grandson's wheelchair to load into our vehicle. Greg was more than gracious when he offered to help load my grandson and the wheelchair into my daughter's car. We were very grateful for Greg's assistance.
