I came in for a routine non-stress test thinking all would be good and I would be on my way home to prepare for our baby, who wasn't due for another 9 days. However, the doctor stated that she would be inducing me due to my high blood pressure. I immediately called my husband and was extremely nervous to begin labor. The staff who began the induction were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated everything they did considering this was our first child. During the actual labor, I was blessed to not only have an amazing doctor, but I had a great nurse, Glenda was a Godsend! Glenda helped me cope with the pain, taught me breathing techniques and overall coached and encouraged me throughout the delivery. A few hours later after I delivered my beautiful baby girl, I began to hemorrhage. Glenda was there and immediately took action. My doctor was busy with another delivery, so Glenda stepped in and took control of the situation. Again, she coached me and kept me and my husband informed of what was going on. If not for Glenda and her amazing skills, I don't believe the situation would have been taken care of so well. My husband and I would like to thank all of the staff members who helped throughout our journey, but we would especially like to give a big thanks to Nurse Glenda for everything she has done for us. We will never forget you!
