The day of my hysterectomy I was blessed with the best nurse I have ever had. I was apprehensive as this surgery is a major close to a chapter in my life. The kindness that I was shown by Ginevra was more than I could have ever hoped for. She was the light in a dark situation. There wasn't a time when she came into my room without a smile! I have been through a lot of surgeries and have never had a nurse as amazing as her. There is no doubt in my mind that God knew I needed a nurse that would balance knowledge, compassion, and understanding. There wasn't a question left unanswered or a request that went unfilled. I know that checking my catheter isn't the most fun thing to do, but she never stopped smiling and didn't rush out of the room. If anyone deserves to be recognized for the hard work and amazing love for her patients it is definitely Ginevra.
