There are no words to express my appreciation for the care George has provided my brother since being diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. George has cared for my brother on several different occasions and was able to get him to do things others couldn't, because of the good relationship they had, e.g. walk more, eat. I'm very involved in my brother's care, and George has been wonderful in helping me to learn more about what the different tests mean.
George's people skills are top notch and I believe his intuition and knowledge are what saved my brother's life on the day my brother was really pushing to go home. George took the time to explain the importance of having good strength and the ability to walk and get around before going home. The doctor said he wouldn't keep him, but suggested he walk the halls and "prove" to George that he was strong enough to go home. My brother wasn't thrilled, but did it because of his relationship with George. While walking the halls, George noticed my brother's chest heaving; his oxygen level dropped to 79. The doctor was called and 2 liters of fluid was found to be on his right lung. If we would have gone home, my brother may not be here today.
We thank George Bullard for the extraordinary, compassionate and skillful care he provided; he is truly a guardian angel.
