Genemar went above the call of duty by reaching out to me and communicated with me and my husband every day how important it was for us to go to the emergency department to be checked out. We finally followed Genemar's instructions and found out my husband had a PVD with first toe gangrene and osteomyelitis. His right leg was saved, but he needs a right toe amputation only. Only if I had followed Genemar's instructions in the beginning and went to the emergency department maybe we could have saved his toe.

Genemar helped us so much after I and my son declined amputation of his left lower leg and we became very angry with vascular recommendations. We were still resistant to surgical intervention but not as angry as when we were first told by vascular, and this is because Genemar took the time to explained and discuss to us over several times about how the oral or IV antibiotics would not take care of the infection, and went over all the doctors' notes again with us so that we had a better understanding of the process and to reconsider surgery. Genemar was compassionate to continually repeat the education to us and his patience to advocate for my son and me was amazing. He did not change his smile even though we were resistant to what really needs to be done for my son. In the end, we agreed to the surgery because Genemar was so patient and understanding with all the questions and concerns we had about steps to lead us to surgery.

I would like to thank Genemar for bringing the E-pump all the way from Long Beach to set up so that I could learn all the details about the instruction to use this equipment. You are kind and patient and have a heart that helped me to understand the equipment easily. We look back on this year, and the best thing that happened to T was he hasn't had aspiration pneumonia since last December 2017. We would like to thank you Genemar for going the extra mile of great advice to try to reduce the tube feeding speed to 6 times than before. I realized that was the answer to avoiding aspiration pneumonia. Also, thank you that T hasn't had a UTI since June 2018. He had more than 4 UTIs that year before. I would like to thank Genemar for providing the special urine drainage bags, which made a big difference to prevent any further UTIs. No more UTIs and this was from determination from Genemar to stop this problem.
