This weekend while taking care of the patient, I entered the patient's room to ask if he needed anything since I had helped him get set up for his bath a couple minutes earlier. When I entered the patient's room, Fawn was already in the room helping him. We both helped the patient get situated in bed and that's when something caught my attention. Fawn started talking to him about his life and the patient got really emotional and started crying. Fawn then grabbed a chair and sat next to him while she wiped his tears. I exited the room at that moment so they could have some privacy but to me that's something so nice of Fawn; to sit down and talk to the patient about his concerns and fears is the mark of a great nurse.
