Erin Cundy used her knowledge and skill as a former NICU nurse and helped resuscitate, stabilize and care for a 30-week preterm baby girl born unexpectedly at our Level I Clay County FBP. Erin showed poise, calm, excellent nursing skills and leadership in her care for the baby. She led the team in a calm respectful manner – using clear, precise communication while working with me, RT, the PA-C, and Neonatologist. Erin treated the baby with gentle hands, dimming the lights and reducing stimulation in the nursery to allow the baby to rest, as she was working hard to breathe.

Erin is one of the most compassionate, capable, loving nurses I’ve ever had the pleasure to work within 15 years as an RN. She is an amazing asset our unit and the patients of Clay County. The exceptional care she takes of her patients and the ways she cares for those she works with leaves me in awe.  It is an understatement to say it is an absolute pleasure to work with and learn from Erin Cundy!
