Although we have found all the staff at BSA to be exceptional at making us comfortable, we were especially blessed by Erika. My father was especially difficult under the influence of anesthesia. Even though my mother and I know he was acting and speaking very ugly and rude, which is not how he normally acts. Erika was very patient and kind to him. She showed great compassion. Fortunately, my father eventually became clear-headed and returned to normal. Erika went above and beyond to take excellent care of my father and family with compassion and love.

There's a lot of stress on the Medical/Surgical floor of most hospitals, but not here at BSA Hospital. Especially when Nurse Erica walks into the room. My husband had surgery and Erika was his nurse. She was thoughtful, thorough, and she was tremendous! Kind, compassionate, caring, gentle, and patient; Erika went farther than the second mile. Always asking, "Is there something more I can do for you - something specific," Erica anticipated his needs many times before he asked. The icing on the cake was her discharge procedure. Erika sent us home with all the supplies we needed. We were thrilled to have the extra supplies that Erika provided! Now that is quality care! I told Erika that she treated him as if he were the president of BSA, and that I was sure she treated each and every patient the exact same way! Kudos, Erika!!!
