I don't think I have ever been around such a thoughtful caring nurse as Eric. He constantly monitored L and L to make sure there were as comfortable and pain and anxiety-free as possible. He provided space for all of us together in the conference room and provided fruit, snacks, cookies, brownies, and water to make sure we were comfortable in our vigil. He was so respectful and kind—the nicest nurse possible. Thank you very much.

Both my uncle and aunt were in the ICU. My uncle was passing away and my aunt was lying next to him holding his hand. They were married over 55 years. Eric was so kind and gracious to all of the family. He ensured my uncle was kept comfortable and provided food and water for the whole family. He not only acted on behalf of both my uncle and aunt but took care of our entire family. He helped make a very painful time into a time of grace. We are all so very thankful for his care, professionalism, and nature.

"Eric was so amazing during my experience at the ICU. He made sure my Pop Pop and family were comfortable during his passing. He went above and beyond. He is a very special person.

Eric was great. He went above and beyond for both of my grandparents. He allowed my grandmother, who was also in ICU, to sit and hold my grandfather's hand while he passed. It was a true love story, and we owe all of our thanks and gratitude to Eric and his fellow nursing partners. Thank you again.

Eric is a very caring and compassionate nurse with his patients and their family. He cared for my mother and then for my father when he was transported to Presby ICU. He facilitated for my mother, also in ICU, to be by my father's side in the moments leading up to his passing. Eric is an Extraordinary Nurse. Presbyterian Hospital is extremely fortunate to have such an amazing nurse. Our family is forever grateful to his expertise.
